Lugansk is the beautiful city with many parks, public gardens and monuments of culture. There 136 monuments of architecture in the city according to official regulations. Military and labor glory of citizens is reflected in 445 monuments and monumental signs. Lugansk is the city with great cultural traditions. It is the motherland of many famous people. One of the is the author of “Clear Dictionary of the Live Russian Language” and one of the closest friend of Alexander Pushkin – V.I. Dal. There is an Art Museum, Art Gallery, Regional Museum, Museum of V.I. Dal, Museum-flat of V. Titov.

According to the general plan of the city during 20 years the modern micro district Lugansk-City of the area of 11,5 hectares will be built at the place of the old quarter, consists of one-storey buildings of XIX century, between center of the city and railway station.

The main City investor-developer became “Megapolis” Ltd. and the designer and contractor is the local construction holding “CD-company”. Specialists from neighbor oblasts will be involved as sub-contractors to construct the City.

The first rented area became 45 hundreds near Kotsiubinskogo and Volodarskogo streets where six houses were cleared out.

The first building at this area of City will be big 27-storey trade and housing center with the height of 72 meters. First four floors will be occupied by parking, trade and office promises, the rest 23 will be the housing of the highest class with the total area of 13 337 sq.m.

Following the new skyscraper there will be thirteen more building with the height from 9 to 23 storey. Totally in the City will be constructed about 500 sq. meters of housing.
