Kindly note that due to current Russian invasion of Ukraine, traveling to Ukraine is highly not recommended at the moment. Martial law, a special legal regime, introduced in Ukraine now due invasion and armed aggression of russia, to withdraw the threat, repel armed aggression and ensure national security. - Time in Ukraine is defined as UTC+02:00 and in summer as UTC+03:00
- You can pay by card at the most of the locations - hotels, museums, restaurants, cafes, shops, bars and etc
- UBER taxi is available in Ukraine
- Majority of staff at the hotels, museums, restaurants, cafes, shops, bars and etc speak English and other foreign languages
- TIPS are preferable but not obligatory, the amount depends on you
- Free WI-FI is available at the most of the locations - hotels, museums, restaurants, cafes, shops, bars and etc
- You can change money in currency exchange offices around the city, at your hotel
- Exchange offices work daily in all cities of Ukraine
- You can pay only in national currency in Ukraine - UAH
- Price of local sim-card with unlimited access to the internet is up to 5 euro
- Shopping areas mostly work daily till 21:00
- Smoking in Ukraine is forbidden at public places
- Cost of an average single trip around the city by taxi is up to 7 euro
- Drinking tap water is not recommended anywhere in Ukraine. Bottled water is cheap and comes both still and fizzy
